I maintain Sally, fix bugs, support Windows architectures, keep translations and documentation current, and prepare releases. Your support helps cover development time, AI development tools and subscriptions, hosting and infrastructure. Thank you for helping me keep working on it.

Support is voluntary. PayPal or Buy Me a Coffee provides your payment confirmation.

For issuing and recovering your supporter key, I retain your chosen name, email address, payment reference and issued key privately, with no automatic expiry. These records are not published.

Your supporter badge

Your chosen name is displayed locally, not in a public donor list. It appears in About and, if you enable it, Sally’s title. During active or future-dated support, the updater hides its optional support actions. Maintainer messages may still appear for everyone, including supporters.

Your support term can end; Sally does not expire. Your name and acknowledgement remain. You can renew whenever you want, and any remaining support time is preserved.

Claim your supporter badge — manual delivery

1. Choose a term and make the one-off payment, entering the displayed USD amount if the provider does not prefill it.
2. After contributing, email the address above or choose Request my supporter badge. Include the chosen offer, payment provider, payment name or transaction reference, preferred badge name or nickname, delivery email, and previous certificate ID for a renewal.
3. Receive your supporter key as a .sally-license file and pasteable text. In Sally, use Help → Enter supporter key, import or paste it, check the automatically verified details, and choose Save key.

Verification is offline. Your key is not tied to a computer. Payments are checked manually; a browser redirect is not proof of payment. Contributions do not purchase priority support.

Renewal and recovery

Renew using the same payment and private request process. Recovery returns your original key and dates, including after expiry. USD contributions are converted proportionally at USD $20 per 12 months, rounded up to the next whole calendar month. Please contact fulfilment for other currencies, previous donations or memberships before expecting a particular support term.

Privacy and payment information

Sally does not upload your key, identify your computer, or track application use. Payment providers have their own terms and privacy policies. Do not send card details or publish payment receipts. Contributions are not represented as tax-deductible charitable donations.
